What a show!
Underground Bluz is always crazy! Small bar, tons of energy. It was an evening with Between the Lines last night and we took over Underground Bluz and played EVERY song in 2 sets. We saw lots of familiar faces and many new faces that we hope to see again soon! Thanks to everybody who made it out! Surely, without you guys playing would be a bore!

So we have new songs posted, more tunes in the works and a few upcoming shows. We're playing a HUGE Cinco de Mayo party down near UCF at the former Don Pablos. It's going to be sick! Many good bands playing, and plenty of drinks to go around! Hope to see you there.

New Songs Posted on the Sounds Page!
That's right! After a few weeks of home-recordings and trying to get our sound just right, we finally have Take 2 Hits and Last 30 Seconds available on the Sounds page. They are also avaiable on our MySpace page. Be sure to check them out and tell us what you think.

It's an exciting time to be in Between the Lines. We will be hitting Pulse HD Studios for a 2 day session in mid-April to record more songs for everybody's listening pleasure. During that same weekend we will be traveling up to Gainesville for the first time with our friends, The Dropa Stone. We jammed with them last night at Holly & Dolly's and they had some great new tunes. So if you're up in Gainesville, don't miss us on April 12th at Backstage Lounge!

New Year, New Band, New Music
After much work writing tunes, Between the Lines is back on it! We had a great show last night at Holly & Dolly's with Union Made and Sugar Free Music. Played two new songs including The Kloninger Curse and Defcon 5 Freakout, both of which became instant crowd favorites.

The next show is Chris' 21st Birthday Show at The Haven! We're playing with 7 Blue Skies, Munk Tung and other great bands. It will be a HUGE show, so don't miss it.

We are trying desperately to get the people some new material on disc so you can bring Between the Lines home with you and jam out whenever you need a fix. We play 7 or 8 songs that are not on The Red Room Sessions, so be sure to watch for the next musical installation of BTL! Once we have some new material we're talking about new shirts, stickers, website and much more.

Also, to our favorite local bands, hit us up for shows! Let's strive to make the Orlando music scene worth going out to see. 2008 will be a big year!

We Brought The House Down
Yo! Some of the most exciting news to date... We won the competition at The Haven and were awarded studio time at Pulse HD Studios. Much appreciation goes out to those who held the show, and all the bands that played before us.

In addition, we would like to personally thank Jade, Kenny, Kierra, Julio, the XOS-crew, 7 Blue Skies, The Dropa Stone, XIT LYT and all our friends and family that were there in support. We could NOT have done this without you.

That being said, Between the Lines is most definitely back on track and will finally have a chance to get the new songs to tape. Look out, because it's going to get FUNKY in Orlando. Thanks again, guys!

Battle of the Bands at The Haven!!!
Long time no updates! We've had a bit of a line-up change and Kyle has joined the band on the bass. We look forward to writing some killer tunes with Kyle laying down the groove.

So, the Between the Lines story continues with the next chapter being the Battle of the Bands at the Haven this Thursday. Winner gets some hours in the recording studio, so come out, support and help us get these new, badass songs to tape.

Gone for another month!
Many thanks to everybody who made it up to Liquid Cellar for the show with Traverser! Even more thanks to the club for allowing us to play on a Saturday (which are apparently not supposed to have bands). We played some new tunes including Jade's Legacy, Influences, Moves, and Whatever's Clever. Look for these songs in a possible late-2007 release.

Now... Between the Lines is getting back to work for another month. We will see you next at Holly and Dolly's on July 27.

Summer Break
Hey guys! The show at Holly and Dolly's went well, but now it's time to write some new tunes. Whatever's Clever got good reviews and we are looking forward to getting a new vibe out to you. We'll be unreachable for 6 weeks while we are refining our material.

June 23rd, Between the Lines will be back on the scene with Semi-Soul and Traverser - two excellent bands. Be sure to mark that show on your calendars, as it will be one not to miss! Also, we're looking to move our sound from Orlando to the North, South, and both coasts. So if you would like to book a show with us, hit us up on Myspace.

Congratulations to Justin who was married on Sunday, May 13! Sorry ladies, but you will have to hit up James and Chris moving forward =) Stay tuned for videos from the Oyster Bay show.

4/20 was a blast!
Tremendous show last night! Thanks to the Dropa Stone for opening up, KoolUS for bringing an energetic sound to the mix, and to Audiology for closing out. We look forward to playing with each of those bands again very soon... but first, here's the low-down on Between the Lines.

You will notice a gap in shows between May 11 and June 23. That is our break, do not bother us =) No seriously... we're taking some time off to write and develop new material. Those at the show last night caught a glimpse of Whatever's Clever, our newest tune. Next show is Cinco de Mayo, and plan to hear another new song then.

We have tentative recording plans for August and we will be working hard towards strengthening our sound for that.

AKA Lounge on Thursday April 12 @ 9:30. Be there!
Special thanks to everybody who was in attendance at Underground Bluz on Saturday night. It was a different feel to the usual Between the Lines set, a mellow and pseudo-unplugged version. We shared our drinks with the audience and all had a great time. Much appreciation to Steve Kasas (filling in on guitar for Justin) who made it possible.

As the headline suggests, we are playing THIS THURSDAY at AKA Lounge. We need to rally all support to get us to the biggest show of the year - Earthday Birthday. Check the shows page for more info, and of course, hit us up on Myspace anytime.

March Madness
Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated St. Patricks day with us! It was great to see some faces that we hadn't seen in a while. We greatly appreciate all the support we receive at the shows. Go grab yourself a copy of NO COVER magazine when you get a chance, you can find it in any Barnes and Noble book store. We were lucky enough to land the song "Words" on the compilation cd that comes with the magazine - also a review within the main pages.

NEXT UP is the battle of the bands for Earthday Birthday! We don't know exactly when it is but it will be on a Thursday night at AKA lounge. We hope you can all come out and put in a vote for us so we can have a chance to play Florida's biggest concert of the year! Thanks again!

St. Patrick's Day Show!
The next big thing is the St Patrick's Day show at Holly and Dolly's with a few great bands, so come and check them out. We're playing the first slot at 9, so the fun starts early!

Thanks again to everybody who continue to come out and support us. Tentative plans for the next few months include getting on some radio shows, being featured in No Cover magazine (copies are out March 16, get them at Barnes and Noble!), and jumping back into the studio to record some new tunes and re-record some others. Stay tuned!

Killer Show at Oyster Bay!
We played the early slot so we could get some of the younger fans out and able to see us play again. Thanks to everyone who came out to jam with us and especially the young band that was able to open up the show for us! It's always cool to see some high-school talent come out and rip up the stage.

Saturday came entirely too early, as we had to get up around 6am to play a show for the Orlando Predators. After actually waking up, we played a really good show! Thanks to the Orlando Predators for having us out and thanks to everyone there who bought our cds and music, hope to see you again at a show soon!

This Friday we're playing at Liquid Cellar with Aryia and Audiology. It's a great lineup, so if you have the time - come out and jam with us! Our set is around 12pm.

The St. Patrick's Day show at Holly and Dolly's is three weeks away! Our set time is 9pm that night so make sure you get their early. We're gonna get a little crazy that night so we'd love to see all of you out! If you haven't gotten your copy of our cd yet you can buy it right here on the website through paypal!
